Blackfriars Primary Parent Council represents parents and carers at Blackfriars Primary School in the Gorbals, Glasgow. We work with the school to support our children’s education and wellbeing. Membership is free and open to all parents and carers.

How does the School Lottery work?

The Blackfriars School Lottery costs £1 per week. 50p from every £1 goes directly to the school. Players can win a £25,000 jackpot each week plus local prizes. You can join via weekly direct debit, monthly bundles, or a one-off purchase.

How can I raise money for the school through everyday shopping?

Sign up to easyfundraising and select Blackfriars Primary Parent Council as your cause. Every time you shop online at over 8,000 retailers, the school receives a free donation at no extra cost to you.

Gorbals Food Pantry: Affordable Food for the Community

The Gorbals Community Pantry offers affordable food close to home. All families are welcome.

Opening times

Wednesday: 11am to 1pm.
Thursday: 5pm to 7pm.

How it works

Two shopping prices: £3 or £6. You choose what suits your budget.
Membership costs £5.00 per year.
