Laurieston Community Council: Community Councillors Needed

Laurieston Community Council needs new community councillors. Could you help make Laurieston an even better place to live?
What could you do?
- Organise community events.
- Lead campaigns on local issues.
- Bring local people together.
- Make representations on planning applications, for example those coming from the North Laurieston Masterplan.
- Represent Laurieston at Area Partnership meetings alongside local elected councillors.
- Gather and share the views of local residents with Glasgow City Council and other public bodies on issues affecting the community and the environment.
- Run the website and social media.
- Take on a role such as Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer.
- Attend training and development sessions.

Email [email protected] if you have any questions, need a proposer or seconder, or require a printed form. They can also send it to Glasgow City Council for you. It must be submitted to the council by Tuesday 29 September 2026.
